A thoughful reminder: ‘As the last several weeks have demonstrated, we are agile as a global community. This agility has been people-led and technology-supported. Human beings are the common denominator to the concept of future proofing, whether it’s as a complement to the technology being unleashed for remote working, or whether it’s because we possess the soft skills and leadership needed to navigate a historic crisis, or because we have the insights needed to drive slow success or fast failure for a cure. It all starts with each and every one of us, and those we are responsible for developing’.
‘Right now the cloud is rising to the challenge and providing the platform to help employees in organisations to work, if not in a normal way, than as normal as might have been anticipated when you’re not allowed to share the same space as your colleagues.’ And a question to reflect upon: ‘If the outbreak had happened a decade earlier, (your) IT would have been in a very different situation.’
‘Discussions around the need for immunity passports will certainly continue to take place in the next few months. In the short-term, the solution could prove instrumental to getting employees back to work and bringing back passenger confidence when travelling. What is certain is that there needs to be more legislation and common guidelines put in place to create a consistent and smooth passenger experience’.
